MSW, RSW, Clinical Therapist
Welcome to my practice, I'm glad you are here.
I believe that everyone, no matter their past or present circumstances, wants to live a full and healthy life with meaningful relationships and love for themselves and for others. I offer support for both individuals and their families to enhance relationships and carve out a path for the kind of lives that we envision for ourselves. Counselling is about change, and although change isn’t always easy, I believe that it is possible for anyone.
I work to support clients in identifying and moving towards the change that they desire. Even when you are not sure where to begin, speaking with a counsellor can provide a space to have a purposeful and worthwhile conversation of possibility.
The most important thing to know about me is that, first and foremost, I am a relational therapist. This means that I work with people to deeply understand who they are and cultivate meaningful therapeutic relationships with them. It is through this process that I am best able to support and encourage reflections and change in the clients that I see.
About Me
As a born and raised Calgarian I now live with my family just west of the city. I began working as a Registered Social Worker in Alberta in 2006 after completing my undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Calgary. In 2010 I returned to the University of Calgary and completed my Master of Social Work degree with a Clinical Specialization in 2012. My training and education during the early years of my career focused on working with adolescents, families and young infants. These experiences formed the foundations of my current practice as a clinician who approaches individuals and families from a developmental and systemic framework.
With close to 20 years of experience as a Registered Social Worker in Alberta, I am privileged to work with both individuals and families from a compassionate and therapeutic lens. I offer a personalized approach to support my client's mental health and overall wellbeing.
